'The quality and artistry of Sonia's shots is breathtaking.'

Welcome, welcome, welcome!

I'm a West Midlands based photographer who loves photographing families and weddings in equal measures.

I want to create photographs that beg to be hung up around your home. That you can't stop looking at. That you walk past every day.

That make you SMILE.

Choosing a photographer is a BIG decision. So stay a while and get to know me, my style and my approach.

You will find lots of images that best reflect my work. Plus plenty of 'Client Love' quotes that echo what I can do for YOU.

here are a few facts about me

Here are a few more about my ideal client

let's see if we're a match

5 things I do do

(if you get the reference to 'Friends' I will be so happy)

I do get along with everyone in front of my lens

I do make you look your most fabulous self

I do keep things simple and relaxed when it comes to posing

I always arrive earlier than planned (I am beyond punctual)

I will encourage you to buy gorgeous, professional prints.

5 things I don't do

(let's really see if we're a match)

I don't batch edit or use pre-sets - every image is individually, beautifully crafted

I don't do anything overly fancy - I tried putting prisms in front of my lens and using off camera flash but realised they're an unnecessary distraction

I don't use Photoshop so I won't be making any drastic changes to the images.

I don't waste precious time creating social media reels or such like when I'm on a job - my focus is on YOU and your gorgeous images

I don't promise hundreds upon hundreds of images - for me, it's all about the quality and not quantity

where it all began

(just in case you were wondering)

For our first wedding anniversary we decided to treat ourselves to a decent camera. I was desperate to get creative and move away from automatic mode.

My husband suggested that I should go on a photography course. So I did and loved it.

Little did I know that it would lead to photographing other people's weddings, among other things.

Over the years, I have worked extremely hard to develop my skills. I achieved qualified status with the Guild of Photographers gaining over 100 awards during my membership.

Rest assured - your photography is quite literally in GOOD HANDS.
