With the current trend for enhanced newborn images in poses, pots and perfectly swaddled wraps it would be easy to dismiss this sort of image.

I hope that my take on newborn photography offers a real alternative to the fine art imagery out there. Don't get me wrong, when it is done well, the images are stunning. I have a photography friend who creates masterpieces with this style of photography. It's just not what I do.

I do give some direction and will carefully think about the composition of the shot. After that, it's all down to what your baby is feeling in the moment. Capturing raw emotions gives my shots true personality. This is how I want you to remember your baby.
