Less is more

If you have already been on my website and scrolled down to the bottom of the home page you will know that this is my favourite saying. It applies to life in so many ways and definitely informs my photography,

For instance, I do not promise hundreds of images. Every image needs to add value to the collection. In other words, I'm very much focusing on quality over quantity. I only want to show you my best work. Equally, I have carefully curated a select range of professional products that I know will showcase your beautiful images. The wall art and albums I offer are timeless, classic and elegant. Not overly ornate or fussy.

I favour simple, uncomplicated compositions. Many of my images have lots of negative space - this is the space between or around the subject. Like in the photograph above. I never overly pose my clients. For me, it's important to keep any direction to a minimum. For your sake as much as mine.

All that said, please don't confuse simple with easy. I have spent countless hours developing my skills. Recognising what needs to be done and what doesn't, what to include and what not to include comes from experience.

Fear not, there are certain things I do give in copious amounts. My time, thought, effort and expertise. I give more where it matters.
