What's been stopping you so far?

Perhaps you're worried about being in front of a professional photographer?

Don't be. My approach is simple and relaxed. The focus is largely on you being YOU! I'm a friendly soul and I will gently guide you where necessary. Ideally, we will have a chat before the photoshoot and we can begin to plan the kind of images you would like and I will give you all the advice you need.

No idea what will happen?

Again, this is all about you. Let's go to your favourite, local park. Bring the kids' bikes. Pack some bubbles. We can go for a walk, find a park bench or feed the ducks. I love to document your family life as closely as possible. This will make the photographs so much more meaningful when you look back at them in years to come. When the kids have 'all grown up!'

Not sure what to wear?

Essentially, we want to be as comfortable as possible. Some families like to treat themselves to new outfits, some colour co-ordinate their clothes, some don't! If you would like my 'what to wear guide' let me know in the contact form below.

What if one or other of the family isn't keen?

I haven't met a family yet where one or more members were a little reluctant. Equally, I haven't had a photoshoot where I haven't succeeded in getting everyone on board. Just because we aren't looking forward to something does not mean we won't thoroughly enjoy it in the end. Trust me.

What if one of the kids has a temper tantrum?

Sometimes we have to give them a moment. Sometimes these are my favourite shots of the session! Fear not. I have plenty of experience and one way or another I will capture those all important smiles, cuddles and lovely little moments.

When?

The main focus will be in November but I do have some availability in October and December.

How much?

Unlike the common mini-session you often see online at this time of the year, I like to spend a good hour with my families. This gives us enough time to capture a real range of shots. Plus, it allows for that odd temper tantrum we mentioned earlier! I deliver 30 beautifully crafted images (all individually edited with love and attention) on a private, online gallery. What's more, I include a £15 print voucher to get you started.
